Binary Kite

This is an ambient occlusion render of Structure Synth's Binary Kite sample script.

Structure Synth is a great application that generates 3D structures from scripts specifying recursive transformation rules.

The cool thing is that it has a very simple template system that allowed me to write an exporter for the appleseed project format, which I used to produce this image.

The export template will be available in the next alpha build of appleseed.
